All the doors have to be closed (inside and out) and any with locks on them need to be locked (except the front door which just needs to be closed).

The aircon needs to be turned off.

You need to stand still near the alarm panel and wait for the ready (or something like that) light to light up. If you move, the motion detector will trigger and not let it go into ready mode.

Then type in your code and the alarm should start beeping, getting progressively faster as the exit timer counts down.

You need to open the front door, exit, close it and lock it.

That should be all. But it is important it is all followed as if any steps are missed, it will not go in to ready mode and then you can’t turn the alarm on.

The alarm must be on every night.

To check it worked, message management after setting it and they can check and confirm it worked.
