Bin Missing Stickers Policy
- All "Service" bins are required to have all stickers on them per the images and information below.
Applying Stickers
Stickers are located in all vehicles and should be replenished at the beginning of each run.
Stock of new stickers can be found in the filing cabinets in the pick container.
Each draw has sample stickers on it of what is in that draw. Please see below:

- Apply large “Paper Recycling Free Collections” sticker to the front of the bin
- Apply a “Type of service “ sticker to the lid and side of the bin i.e.
- Paper and Cardboard
- Bottle and Can
- General Waste
- Confidential Document Destruction
- Refer to the Picture “A” though “C” for placement.
- Apply small “Wheelie Bin Sales” stickers ( on roll next to sticker draw) to the side of each bin. Refer to picture “D”.
- Ensure to remove any old phone numbers or suppliers names or cover with the Australian Waste Management stickers

*Please note, the images are examples, the correct stickers for the type of service should be used.*
- All service bins should have two large stickers (AWM and Waste Type) on the front, one small sticker (Bin Sales) on the side and one small sticker (Waste Type) on the lid per the images above.
- There should be NO exceptions to this for ANY services bins.

- Regardless of the colour or size of the bin, ALL bins should have ALL the correct stickers on them at ALL times.
- If a driver finds a bin missing stickers, they are to be added by that driver (on the spot) from the spares in the truck and a message stating that they have applied whichever missing stickers to that customer bin is to be posted in Skype and the e-run notes for that collection.
- Sample message could be :
"John Smiths bin was missing the large AWM sticker on the front which I have now replaced”
- From this report, the driver will be nominated for +1 point for fixing and reporting the issue and the last driver to attend previously will be nominated for -1 point for not rectifying the issue on their attendance.
- If the driver does not have any stickers in the truck when he needs one, the driver should report the details of the customer and bin with the missing stickers so he/they don't get nominated for a -ve point when it is noticed on the next collection and we can make special arrangements for the stickers to be added asap, however the driver will be nominated for a -ve point for failing to complete the pre run vehicle check properly and ensuring he/they have tools, bin spare parts and stickers in the truck like the procedure requires.
- For any missing stickers that are reported but cannot be added on the spot, the office is to book in a specific job using the "Note" item and adding a description outlining what needs to occur.
- Sample :
"Please take "Australian Waste Management" and "General Waste" stickers fit to the customers 360ltr General Waste bin
(Dark Green Body with Dark Green Lid) while there emptying it. AP 23/2/2019"
- The job should be booked in for the truck that will complete the next collection of that actual bin and the "Invoice Date" and "Promised Date" should be set to the customers next collection date for that service.
- This ensures that the bin will be out and accessible for the driver on that date.
- If the collection is a BNO on that date, the office MUST ensure to reschedule the sticker application job to the following collection date as well.
